He was the man who invented the square crumpet and was then faced with the fact that, at that time in Australia, there was no way to package them. These days, we take square crumpets and jam for granted, but back then, Errol had to resolve the packaging issue and in so doing, developed considerable expertise in that area, becoming known industry wide for his abilities. He was subsequently the Engineering Manager for Top Bakeries for some ten years. During this time, he developed considerable ability in Large Project Management.
